1Je me dresse maintenant devant l’assemblée des grands, et du milieu des dieux de ce monde je juge et j’affirme ;

June 2013, the beginning of a new era

Although from a scientific point of view that most doomsday scenario are mostly unlikely for the near future, there are worldwide signs all over the planet indicating that earth and mankind is now experiencing major changes, a major shift in civilizations is about to happen.

Since the origins of man, many societies especially have been ruled by religious and spiritual belief and all over the world, for years and years, the Apocalypse has been predicted.

It doesn’t take a nuclear physicist or a spiritual leader to predict that one day, this earth is going to die. All planets die one day and, when this will happen, if there are still men on earth, they will also die. This will be the end of the world, as we know it but certainly not the end of the universe. New planets are born everyday and the universe is still in expansion.

But, what about a possible global disaster that may happen in our days that could means the near extinction of man on earth?

History, science, studies and researches teach us that in the past, entire highly developed populations and civilizations suddenly disappeared from the surface of the planet on behalf of natural disasters. Entire species disappeared from the surface of the planet in a very short time period, even in minutes and all of this, without any warning. If this happen in the past, why can it not happen today?

An easy answer would be to say that with all the scientific equipment that we have around the world and in space, if there was something to happen, something to hit us we would see it coming days, weeks, months if not year in advance.

How arrogant and presumptuous!

What is worrying me is not what we know; it is what we do not know. Three thousand years ago, Egyptians were performing knee surgery, they were building pyramids and temples with unsurpassed, almost surgical, engineering and mathematical precision; two thousand years ago, Romans were building aqueducts, roads, amphitheaters…  What about the Babylonians and the days before?

What did they know that we do not know?

For most of them, most of these lost civilizations; they disappeared because of human wicked behavior and for most of them, they predicted that this was to happen again to the future for future generations and it did happen and, it will happen again.

Over the centuries, because of natural disasters and cataclysms, because of wars or human nature, we lost a lot of information and knowledge and a lot of the remaining information has often been locked or hidden in obscure vaults of the rich and powerful or a select few and even today, we are still wondering how they could have done it. Some would even pretend that aliens assisted them.

Today, to pretend that humanity is not going to be hit by a global disaster is foolishness. Today, because of our communication networks, because of the way we communicate and interact with everyone and every nation of the world, everything that we do on a local basis has an immediate impact or consequences on the rest of the planet. Changes that were taking days, weeks, months and year to happen now happen instantly. Everything that we do anywhere on the planet take global proportions.

Even though we know that are not going to be hit by a giant meteor tomorrow morning, even though we know that we are not going to be hit by a disastrous solar kill shot in the days to come, there is absolutely no guarantee that we are not going to be hit by a major volcanic eruption somewhere, by major earthquakes, by the inevitable tsunamis to follow, by major hurricanes or tornadoes or any other major surprise that mother nature may have in store for us. What about these possible men made events and disasters that can cause an entire population or civilization to vanish or disappear? Look at the Mayas, the Holocaust, and The North American natives, Syrians …

Whatever the predictions and the situation may be, we are living in times and days indicating that major events are to happen that will directly impact the life of many if not everyone on the planet. The signs are there and the date is June 2013.

Revelation

Various scientific scenarios have been theorized on an eventual doomsday.

1. – An asteroid or comet’s collision with Earth.

Such an event although very improbable for the next few years, happened in the past and will happen again.

Given that the asteroid or comet is big enough, an applicable scenario predicts a chemical change in the atmosphere due to “heat shock” produced by the entry in the atmosphere and impact on earth of the asteroid or comet. Such chemical change would involve the production of nitric-acid rains, the bitterness produced by the Biblical prediction of the Wormwood Star upon a third of the Earth’s potable water.

2. – Is the earth pole shift theory possible?

If a large enough comet or asteroid falls on Earth to produce acid rains, the consequences of such and event will include earthquakes, tsunamis and massive destruction of populations that could mean the “End of Times”. But what about an Earth pole shift?

As a matter of fact, the magnetic field of the Earth has actually switched its direction many times during Earth’s history. This can be verified from geologic records indicating that the Lava flows that have solidified 30,000 years ago are evidence that the magnetic field of the earth was in the opposite direction at that time. The same geologic records show that such a reversal could possibly take less than 100 years.

One effect that may occur during a magnetic reversal is that the Earth may not be protected from charged particles streaming from the sun. These particles are called the “solar wind“, and could be dangerous to life if they reached the Earth’s surface. Solar wind energy can also cause “space plasma storms”, that could cause communication satellites and electronic equipment and instrumentation to fail. Such plasma storms can also cause damage to electric power systems on the surface of the Earth. A large space storm in 1989 made currents on the ground that caused a failure in the Hydro-Quebec electric power system. This prevented 6 million people in Canada and the US from having electricity for over 9 hours.

3. –What about a “man made” apocalyptic disaster?

Do I really have to answer to this one?

We have civil and religious wars going all around the world, economic and political conflicts, poverty and misery, all over the world. The only question is who would be crazy enough to draw first blood.

Bashar Al Assad? Benjamin Netanyahu? Mahmoud Ahmadinejad? Kim Jong-un? Vladimir Putin? Barack Obama? Any one of these men or any country that owns the nuclear technology can trigger a sequence of events of apocalyptic dimensions that would fit all the biblical and prophetic description of the end of the world.

North Korea now playing a very dangerous game

North Korea will chicken out

North Korea has been angry since new U.N. sanctions were imposed following its third nuclear weapons test in February and warning that nuclear war could break out at any time, has now asked foreign countries to consider evacuating their embassies in Pyongyang causing the United States to strengthen its Pacific missile defences and Russia to express its concerns.

While most experts do not believe that North Korea does not have missiles capable of either long-range or accuracy and that North Korea’s nuclear threats are more rhetorical than practical, playing chicken game with the most powerful nations of the world is still a very dangerous game with a lot at stake for most of the nations of the world.

Will North Korea declare war to the United States, Russia or China?

Never in a lifetime!

Daniel 1:1-3

1At that time Michael, the great prince who protects your people, will arise. There will be a time of distress such as has not happened from the beginning of nations until then. But at that time your people, everyone whose name is found written in the book, will be delivered.

2Multitudes who sleep in the dust of the earth will awake: some to everlasting life, others to shame and everlasting contempt.

3Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

1A ND I saw, and I heard a voice telling me:

“Come here! I will show you the judgment of this great whore that sat upon so many waters, 2with whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her perversity.”

3Then, I was carried away into the wilderness and, I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet colored beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet color, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: 5And upon her forehead was a name written: Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots and Abominations of The Earth. 6And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the Saints, and with the blood of the martyrs. And when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

7And I saw and I heard again, that voice telling me:

“Wherefore and what for did you marvel? Let me tell you the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carried her, which had the seven heads and ten horns. 8The beast that you saw was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were not written in the book of life from the foundation of the world, when they behold the beast that was, and is not, and yet is. 9And here is the mind, which has wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sits. 10And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he will come, he must continue a short space. 11And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goes into perdition. 12And the ten horns, which you saw, are ten kings, which have received no kingdom yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast. 13These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast. 14These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.”

15And, the voice told me:

“The waters which you saw, where the whore sat, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. 16And the ten horns which you saw upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her in fire. 17For God hath put in their hearts to fulfill his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled. 18And the woman which you saw is that great city, which reigned over the kings of the earth.”

Jorge Mario Bergoglio: Pape et Évêque Emeritus De l’Église Catholique Romaine

Jorge Mario Bergoglio

The new Roman Catholic Church’s Pope and Rome’s Bishop Emeritus

Francis, Jorge Mario Bergoglio, Petrus Romanus

Jorge Mario Bergoglio

On Wednesday March 13, 2013 on the second day of the conclave in Vatican City, Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio becomes first Latin American and first Jesuit to lead Catholic Church taking name pope Francis the first.

The 76-year-old from Buenos Aires is the first Jesuit and the first non-European pontiff in nearly 1,300 years. Argentinian Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio has been elected the 266th pope, making him the leader of the 1.2 billion-strong Roman Catholic Church.

The challenges ahead

Francis I succeeds Benedict XVI, who stepped down on February 28. His nomination and the fact that he chose the name Francis may well prove to be indicative of something historical.

With the election of the new pope, the Vatican and the Catholic Roman Church will now faces several key challenges. The new pope’s response to those will give us a significant indication of what Catholics can expect from him as the head of the Roman Catholic Church. One key priority of the new pope will be to reach out to his flock of 1.2 billion followers and rebuilding the relationship between the Vatican and churches around the globe.

Much was written about whether the new pope shall focus on pastoral care or try to reform the Vatican. In reality, he needs to do both and merely 12 hours after his election, the new pope quietly left the Vatican early this morning to pray for guidance as he looks to usher a Roman Catholic Church mired in intrigue and scandal into a new age of simplicity and humility. The first leader of the Roman Catholic Church to come from the Americas also takes the title of bishop of Rome and, in his first words to the crowd in St. Peter’s Square on Wednesday evening he made clear that he would take that part of his role seriously.

Cardinal Jorge Mario Bergoglio’s election has broken Europe’s centuries-old grip on the Roman Catholic Church Papacy; he is also the first to take the name Francis, in honor of the 13th-century Italian saint from Assisi who spurned wealth to pursue a life of poverty. The 266th pontiff in the Church’s 2,000-year history is taking the helm at a time of great crisis. For years now, morale among the faithful followers has been hit by a widespread child sex abuse scandal and in-fighting in the Vatican bureaucracy. When he appeared on the balcony of Saint-Peter’s Basilica yesterday, he urged the huge crowds gathered in the square below to pray for him.

A change of direction

The unexpected election of the new pope is already answering some fundamental questions and announcing some fundamental changes about the direction of the Roman Catholic Church in the coming years.

After more than a millennium of absolute European leadership, the cardinal-electors went to Latin America, to find a new pope, a continent where 42 percent of the world’s Catholics live, and a continent that is more focused on poverty related issues and spiritual values rather than materialism and capitalistic values of the Western world and nations. They also chose a man with long pastoral experience, rather than an academic and Vatican insider. For some, it seems that this pope will be more aware of what life is all about. There will be less rhetorical work and more practical interventions. Jorge Mario Bergoglio was born into a family of seven, from an Italian immigrant family. He became a priest at 32, nearly a decade after losing a lung due to respiratory illness. Despite his late start, in 1936, he was awarded the title of Provincial and was leading the local Jesuit community.

The Jesuit order was founded in the 16th century to serve the papacy and always has been best known for its work in education and for the intellectual prowess of its members. As a Jesuit, Jorge Mario Bergoglio has a reputation as someone never backing up and willing to challenge any powerful interests or ideology. Displaying his conservative orthodoxy, he has often spoken out strongly against gay marriage, abortion and women accessing priesthood.

Before the conclave, the cardinals were divided between the urgency to get the dysfunctional bureaucracy of the Vatican under control or the urgency to revitalize faith across the globe, those who believed the new pontiff must be a strong manager and others who were looking more for a proven pastoral figure. Others believed that the most important factor was the age issue. Jorge Mario Bergoglio is the consensus candidate no one expected. The secret conclave began on Tuesday night March 12 with a first inconclusive ballot. Three more inconclusive ballots were held on Wednesday March 13 before he obtained the required two-thirds majority of 77 votes in the fifth and final vote.

Jorge Mario Bergoglio was a serious rival candidate at the 2005 conclave, but his name had not appeared on lists of possible contenders this time around. Many cardinals had discounted him because of his age. In 2005, he was the runner up, the principal alternative to Joseph Ratzinger his predecessor Benedict XVI, when he told the cardinals:  “Let him have it… I do not want the job”. This time around, not expecting to be elected, after the fact, he told them: “May God forgive you!”

At 76, Jorge Mario Bergoglio is the first Latin American pope, the first Pope Francis and the first Jesuit pope.

For years Jorge Mario Bergoglio was known as a different kind of Latin American bishop, a reserved man of theological sophistication challenging the privileged in the name of the poor and the oppressed. He famously laid aside the material comforts of his office, leaving the archbishop’s mansion empty to live in a simple apartment, cooking his own meals and taking the bus to his meetings.

While it is still too early to tell, how he will he lead the Roman Catholic Church, his first public appearance sent a clear message: on the balcony, facing the crowd, he appeared in the simple papal cassock, declining to wear the accompanying red shoulder cape that his predecessors have always worn. Additionally, he declined to use the term “pope emeritus” referring to him instead as “bishop emeritus,” the bishop of Rome.

God, Ye are gods, Ye shall die like men

1I do now stand in the congregation of the mightiest to judge and declare among the gods of this world:

2How long will ye judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked?

3Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. 4Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

5They know not, neither will they understand; they walk on in darkness: all the foundations of the earth are out of course. 6I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High. 7But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

8Arise, O God, judge the earth: for thou shalt inherit all nations.
