Donald Trump, New York, news, Politics, Trump

On Monday March 18, Donald Trump’s lawyers revealed that Trump had failed to secure the $464 million appeals bond he needs to avoid paying the half-billion-dollar penalty as he appeals the New York civil fraud judgment against him. Securing the bond was a “practical impossibility… about 30 different bond companies having turned down Trump’s request, in part because very few will consider a bond of anything approaching that magnitude, and the rest will not accept hard assets such as real estate as collateral,” they said.

Trump is running out of time.

Unless Trump is able to obtain an appeals bond before then, New York Attorney General’s office plans to collect from Trump on Monday, March 25. As soon as March 25, New York prosecutors and law enforcement could initiate a wide-ranging action to freeze and then seize Trump’s assets.

Forbes estimates that Trump has about $400 million of cash and liquid securities, some of that money being already encumbered. Earlier this month, Trump obtained a $91.6 million appeals bond for the second New York civil judgment against him for defaming and sexually assaulting E. Jean Carroll. Those same funds cannot be used to collateralize a second bond. Trump needs collateral of $557 million to post the $464 million bond.

Trump is facing a liquidity crisis.

Over $540 million in legal fines currently weigh on Trump, threatening to deplete his $400 million estimated cash reserves and force him to sell or borrow against his real estate empire. It is a well-known fact that Trump could have easily avoided his actual $540 Million cash crunch. There are two viable paths that would have saved him a lot of lifelong headaches, not to mention money.

Trump could have simply invested the estimated $400 million inheritance he received from his father in 1999. Or, in 2017, he could have divested his business empire when he became president in January 2017, and simply reinvested the proceeds in the stock market.

In both cases, if the billionaire ex-president had made this one move years ago, he would be much richer and more liquid today. He may even have avoided the $450 million bill for lying about his assets. In 2017, if Trump had diested and reinvested, Trump would likely be at least $2 billion richer. If he had invested his inheritance, it would have boosted his fortune by at least $1 billion.

In short, Donald Trump is in a financial bind today not just because he committed financial fraud on an enormous scale, sexual abuse, and defamation. He is also here because his business empire has not kept up with the markets.

So much about being a genius!

The Michael Van Der Veen Shit Show

Michael van der Veen, Trump second impeachment trial

AN AMBULANCE CHASER and JACK OF ALL TRADE: The endlessly pedantic and pathetic Michael van der Veen.

An ambulance chaser and jack of all trades after suing Trump in August 20020, Michael van der Veen is now representing Trump in his Senate impeachment trial.

Michael van der Veen has been an attorney since 1988. As a founder of the Philadelphia personal injury law firm, Van der Veen, O’Neill, Hartshorn, Levin, his litigation practice and experience includes personal injury litigation including representing plaintiffs in car crashes, motorcycle and bicycle accidents, and dog bites, representing clients in connection with construction accidents, antitrust matters and product defects.

Under his belt, a suit against a toy manufacturer, a case of corporate embezzlement, a suit seeking to legalize the use of clean hypodermic needles to combat the spread of HIV/AIDS and police brutality claims. He has also represented criminal defendants accused of rape, drunk driving, and murder. He also represented a man who claimed to have been served a fried rat at a Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant.

More astonishing, notwithstanding that he is now pretending that Trump did nothing wrong in relation with the Capitol riot of January 6, in August 2020, Van der Veen sued the then President Donald J. Trump alleging that his attacks on the U.S. Postal Service were unsupported by evidence. In his suit against Trump, van der Veen was alleging: “These actions . . . arise in an environment subject to repeated claims by President Donald J. Trump that voting by mail is ripe with fraud, despite having no evidence in support of these claims, and lawsuits filed by the Trump campaign to stop mail-in voting in states such as Nevada and Pennsylvania.” The suit was settled in late November 2020.

While there is no prohibition against a lawyer representing a former adversary, van der Veen now representing Trump only demonstrate how difficult it is now for the ex-president to find reputable lawyers and law firms to represent himself and his interests. The endlessly pedantic Michael van der Veen is best known in Philly for his radio ads, asking if you’ve tripped or having been bite by a dog while walking down the street.

Trump will be acquitted… but no thanks to Michael van der Veen. Trump will be acquitted thanks to these Republican senators only trying to protect their political future.

Pathetic!

The Greatest Shit Show on Earth: “The Trump Second Impeachment Trial”

14th Amendment, Donald J. Trump, Trump's Impeachment

Trump will be acquitted again: Forget Impeachment, use the section 3 of the 14th Amendment.

Section 3 of the 14th Amendment reads as follow:

“No person shall be a Senator or Representative in Congress, or elector of President and Vice-President, or hold any office, civil or military, under the United States, or under any state, who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof.”

Again, thanks to these Yellow Unscrupulous Republican Representatives, like for the first impeachment trial, there will be no conviction: Trump will be acquitted again.

The suggestion that the Senate will censure Trump for aiding and abetting the January 6, 2021 insurrection falls far short of what is required to see justice done.

What is required is keeping Trump from having access to high office ever again, disqualifying this dangerous and scheming individual for the 2024 presidential election and, and Section 3 of the 14th Amendment provides that remedy.

It all finally caught up to Donald Trump ~ Trump’s post-presidency: Avoid indictment and bankruptcy

Capitol Riot, Donald J. Trump

Trump, who built a brand on projecting indestructibility, has been branded as something he despises most: a loser.

By: J. Michael Dennis

08/01/2021 11:00 AM EST

Trump, 74, was born into a wealthy family, built a global business, with a few bankruptcies along the way, became a reality TV star and then won the presidency with no political experience. It allowed the megalomaniac businessman to craft his own legacy: Success against all odds.

But now the FBI and authorities are examining whether Trump illegally and inappropriately instigated the Capitol riot of January 6; Investigators are examining whether Trump illegally, inappropriately and improperly inflated assets, evaded taxes and paid off women alleging affairs in violation of campaign finance laws; Lawsuits filed by women against Trump accusing him of harassing and assaulting them are still pending in courts; Lenders are looking for hundreds of millions of dollars in loans to be repaid; The New York Attorney General’s Office is investigating whether Trump and his company misreported assets on financial statements used to seek loans, tax breaks and economic benefits; The Manhattan district attorney is still probing Trump’s payoffs to two women to keep them quiet during the 2016 campaign about extramarital affairs; The Manhattan district attorney may also be broader than the hush money payments, possibly including a probe of tax crimes and bank and insurance fraud.

Trump, who spent decades teasing a White House bid before finally running in 2016, plowed through a first term marred by an impeachment trial, omnipresent investigations, back-biting leaks, tell-all memoirs from ex-staffers, prominent resignations and firings and crisis after crisis of his own making. While in the White House, given a longstanding Justice Department precedent not to indict a sitting president, Trump has been largely protected from facing criminal charges. But once he leaves office, he will have to grapple with a series of investigations that might directly implicate him. And, if he is to lose the legal immunity of the presidency Trump may well be facing jail time.

Trump has, again and again, evaded, side-stepped and shrugged off legal, financial and personal woes. He has survived an impeachment trial, numerous accusations of sexual misconduct and thousands of lawsuits. While he has been through adversities of his own making, bankruptcies, settlements with authorities over alleged malfeasance at his charitable foundation and the now-shuttered Trump University, he has always remained unbowed. These days are over, not even a self-granted preemptive presidential pardon would allow Trump to evade authorities probing him.

There is no way out. Since most of these probes are state, not federal investigations, Trump cannot pardon himself preemptively on the way out the door. Time is running short.

Happy New Year Mr. President,

I just hope your loyal supporters and friends will visit you in whatever jail you will be ending.

Not Only in the USA ~ March for Trump in Japan

Japan, March for Trump, Tokyo

JAPAN January 6, 2021: Tokyo Trump supporters march to decry US election result

TOKYO: hundreds rallied in support of Trump on Wednesday, protesting the US presidential elections results, which they say are fraudulent. The rally took place as the US Congress was gathering in the Capitol to certify the victory of President-elect Joe Biden.

Japanese Trump supporters were chanting slogans such as ”Fight for Trump” while marching and carrying banners reading ”Trump win! Japan win!”

“Many people from all over the United States should be gathering in Washington, DC, in the USA to support President Trump. Here we are, Japanese people, who support President Trump,” said Takao Furuyama, one of the Trump supporters.

“And we believe that he is thinking about the peace of the United States, the peace of Japan, and the peace of the world,” he added.

Masumi Yokuni, another demonstrator, said, “I think President Trump is the president who fights the deep state, revealing what has happened behind the scenes and behind the politics of the world, without our knowledge. I am supporting him because I think that his winning will be a big boost not only for the United States but also for Japan and the world.”

The incumbent president has said he won’t give up the White House to President-elect Joe Biden. Trump’s legal team launched a series of court cases to overturn the results after the official results called Biden as the president-elect, without providing compelling evidence.

What do you know!

Not only in the USA; There are crazy idiotic people all around the world!

Too Inconvenient, Trump goes Rogue on phone security

The Trump Raffensperger Infamous and Incriminating Phone Call

A total lack of judgement! Who in his right mind would make such a call, who would discuss such issues over the phone? Only Donald J. Trump!

Trump is suffering from the James Bond Syndrome: a disorder in which someone like Trump believes that he can run barefoot and nude in a snowbank, at 40 below zero while carrying an infinite of weapons and ammunitions up his ass and still maintain an erection.

Read is the full transcript of the audio obtained from a source that was on the call and had direct knowledge of the hour-long conversation that took place Saturday January 2, 2021.

And, judge by yourself

Donald J. Trump, Trump's Meltdown

“I am awesome!” – Donald Trump

“I am exceptionally smart” he said.” “I’m, like, a very smart person,” he assured voters in 2016, “A very stable genius,” he ruled two years later.

And then, on last April 24, this exceptionally smart, very stable genius comes out with this unbelievable statement suggesting “injection” of disinfectant to beat coronavirus and “clean” the lungs. No modern politician anywhere in the world can match and surpass Trump’s record of irrational or illogical statements.

Trump is in a class of its own.

His constant careless and too often delusional statements definitely invited questions about his intelligence and actual state of mind.

When Rex Tillerson called Trump a “moron” in private, he was absolutely right. So where all other former senior administration officials that did the same or rendered equivalent verdicts.

Trump is a megalomaniac.

Since long before his 2016 campaign, few subjects have been as meaningful to him as appraisals of his intellect. For Trump, it always has been a source of perpetual obsession and manifest insecurity, so much, that he always felt and still do feel the need to allude to his brainpower regularly.

Trump does not want to feel like anybody is better than he is. He cannot deal with that and this is the reason why he his so often dismissing doctors and their opinions. He used to be intimidated by lawyers. Anyone who knows more than he does makes him feel less than he is.

Don’t get me wrong, I always cheer the underdog and applaud when they win. But if I was still be praising Trump, I would have to question my own sanity!

I now believe that it is time to go nuclear on Trump.

The only remedy is the 25th Amendment.

Are the media more to blame than Trump for the white supremacist rhetoric surge?

From Trump to Fox News to 8chan: the web of white supremacist rhetoric is wide

Since 16 June 2015, the day he rode an escalator down to the lobby of Trump Tower, Trump has made fear of immigrants and those who might look like immigrants, the central theme of his campaigns and his administrative priorities. Trump is a politician perfectly fitted for a media ecosystem that amplifies extreme emotions, resists complex or nuanced thought, impedes deliberation and allows the loud to drown out the calm. Regardless of his tweets and speeches, his actions have inspired and emboldened violent bigots.

It’s hard in the heat of the moment, in the face of so much suffering and horror, to look at the entire ecosystem that fosters and encourages such thought and action. There are no simple, straightforward causes for this phenomenon. There is no simple “solution”. There is not one distinct medium to blame. White nationalists are savvy about how they work our dynamic, interconnected media ecosystem. Some are even savvier than the journalists who write about them and definitely know to exploit the weaknesses of the system. When they post screeds on forums such as 8Chan, white nationalists intend for police and journalists to quote directly from them and spread their messages farther than they could themselves. Their claims and terms of choice leap from the dark recesses of small, discrete groups into wider circulation. Coverage and quotes echo around mainstream news reports, then get recirculated even farther and revised into vernacular commentary via amateur posts to Twitter, WhatsApp and Facebook. Facebook’s algorithms are designed to amplify content that generates strong emotions and thus, user reactions. Individuals add their own perspectives, reaction to the supremacist’s events and gelling into new forms and new expressions via Facebook and Twitter. What rises on Twitter tends to echo on Facebook and vice versa. Soon images and messages are bouncing back and forth, getting picked up by cable news, newspapers and news sites.

Every player in this complex ecosystem enhances, amplifies and changes the story and the message. The spectacle is the reward. For violent white nationalists and all other propagandists of all kinds and gender, this is an ideal media system. Their numbers can grow once their messages don’t seem so jarring and outside the bounds of normal conversation. The rhetoric of violent white supremacy like for the rhetoric of LGBT groups, the #MeToo movement has become common, almost normal. More and more people find homosexuality, lesbianism, white nationalism and so on, viable and acceptable.

Many, like for any other deviant philosophy and way of life, become less willing to condemn discrimination, racism and bigotry and mainstream media, journalists and pundits, like it or not, by their continuous insistence on reporting and commenting on Trump’s elucubrations are only contributing to convince a growing majority of their audience to grant racists the benefit of the doubt and take their concerns seriously.

In a world of increasing poverty and misery, more and more people might find white nationalism a comfortable world view, one that satisfies a once-latent urge to bond only with those like them and blame problems on those unlike them.

It is about time for all media to realize that without them, like for all deviant groups, Trump is nothing.
